* Uraz Aydin is the editor of Yeniyol, the review of the Turkish section of the Fourth International, and one of many academics dismissed for having signed a petition in favour of peace with the Kurdish people, in the context of the state of emergency decreed after the attempted coup in 2016.

Movement Builds to Free Milwaukee Muslim Leader Detained by ICE
On Monday, March 30, Salah Sarsour, President of the Islamic Society of Milwaukee (ISM) was stopped by a dozen vehicles and arrested by 10 Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents who first took him to the Broadview Detention Center in Illinois, and then to the Clay County Justice Center, near Terre Haute, Indiana.
