The manifesto has garnered support from a diverse array of notable figures, including parliamentarians, academics, activists, trade union leaders, intellectuals, feminists, environmentalists, anti-racists, anti-capitalists, and internationalist activists. Among the signatories is a writer who received the 2022 Nobel Prize in Literature. The manifesto strongly condemns widespread assaults on social rights, civil liberties, public services, and the environment. It also denounces the manipulation of racism, sexism, and xenophobia for political gain.

The appeal emphasises the connection between the rise of far-right ideologies and the intensification of imperialist and colonial aggression, regardless of its origins, which seek to appropriate natural resources and dominate populations. The signatories assert that the diverse array of forces united against far-right, fascist, and imperialist movements should not be considered a hindrance; rather, it underscores the necessity to establish a common coordination that can effectively address increasingly grave threats.
The signatories call for a united internationalist response and announce the organisation of an international anti-fascist and anti-imperialist conference in Porto Alegre (Brazil) from March 26–29, 2026. Recall that the World Social Forum originated in Porto Alegre 25 years ago.
