He was critically injured and rushed to a local hospital. He was then shifted to Dera Ismail Khan and further to Islamabad's PIMS hospital for treatment. Unfortunately, he succumbed to his injuries the next day on Saturday. Arif Wazir hails from Ahmadzai Wazir tribe of Wana Waziristan.
