Twelve of the prisoners of Tamassint (see article in this month’s issue) started an indefinite hunger strike on Monday 6 June.

The prisoners are demanding the status of "prisoners of conscience", the right to be held together rather than be split up in different cells, and of course ultimately the end of their unjust and arbitary detention.

Read the details of their struggle in the article in this month’s issue, including email addresses and fax numbers to send protests about the detentions and the repression of the Tamassint movement.
