SNCF : The strike is haunting the bosses

While the historic strike movement at the SNCF has been going on for almost 60 days, senators and the SNCF are hand in hand to try to break this movement by any means necessary.

The Senate’s social affairs committee has just voted a new text against the right to strike in transport giving employers the right to requisition the strikers.

At the same time, the SNCF is preparing, in some places, to pay non-strikers a bonus (a questionable move from the point of view of labour law) of 300 to 1500 euros for good and loyal service during the conflict!

In these two cases - coming just at this moment - it is indeed a way for the bosses to find ways of breaking the transport workers’ strike.

The NPA strongly condemns these dirty tricks and gives its full support to the RATP and SNCF workers for their exemplary role in the fight against the pension counter-reform and against Macron!
