"No APEC People’s Forum"

The APEC (Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation) summit conference of 21 countries and regions of Asia-Pacific region was held on November 13 and 14th in Yokohama, Japan.

Against the neo-liberal capitalist offensive aiming for building free trade
zone all over Asia-Pacific region, activists of trade unions, peasant,
NGOs, peace movements, ecological movements, feminist movements, and global justice movements jointly organized "No APEC Peoples Forum" and
demonstration on November 13 and !4th in Yokohama. The Japanese Revolutionary Communist League and National Council of Internationalist Woekers, two groups linked to the FI joined the Forum and the demonstration to which joined 500 people.

Comrades from Hong Kong and Pakistan also joined the People’s Forum
along with the other foreign guests from South Korea and Philippines.

The size of demonstration was moderate but it was relatively successful.
